Wool Becomes Ewe:  February Events

Pre-registration is required for all classes. Closing early on February 14^th at 5:30 pm (I’ve got a date!!)

Hat knitting: Saturday, Feb 2 (2^nd  class) from 10:30 - 12:30.

Sock knitting:  $15 plus supplies– Saturday, Feb 2 and 9 from 1:00-3:00 pm – This class de-mystifies heel turning and the kitchener stitch. If you can knit, purl and cast on, you can make socks! This is a two-part class.

Soufflé Sweater with Peggy Bird: $15 plus supplies – Saturday, Feb 9 from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm. This is a beautiful quit-knit sweater that can tie at the waist or higher as a shrug. On display now. Come join the fun and have a wearable for years to come.

Knitting Tips 'n Techniques with Chris Elliott: $ 15 – Saturday,  Feb 16^th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm – Got knitting ???? – Chris has the answers!

Beginning Quilting: $25 Learn to piece and machine quilt. This is a 3 - session class: Saturdays, Feb 16, March 1 and March 22 from 12 – 2 pm. Please ask about class supplies.

Saturday Sampler: Block 5. Saturday, Feb 16 at 10:30 am.

Crazy Quilt with Betsy Smith (Pendleton Quilt Guild): $35 plus supplies, Saturday, Feb 23 from 9 am – 4 pm. Looking for a fun, creative project? Make a beautiful quilt or wall hanging with this imaginative, free-flowing pattern. It’s a great way to use your scrap/stash fabrics on hand in an inspired, imaginative project.

Knitting/Crochet projects for charity – Saturday, Feb 23rd from 2 – 4 pm. Crochet 6” granny squares (worsted weight yarn) or knit Prayer Shawls in the trinity stitch pattern (2 - 2 1/2 skeins of Homespun needed). Please come and share your time and talent for nursing home residents.

Friday Mysteries For Ewe: “Needled to Death” by  Maggie Sefton. First meeting: Friday, Feb 29, 7 –9 pm.  4^th Fridays thereafter. Bring a project and follow the clues! We’ll read 1-2 chapters each month and discuss them. Refreshments provided.

Knitting 1: Learn the basics so you can enjoy the soothing qualities of knitting. $15 - Every 1^st Thursday of each month from 6:30-8:30 pm. Please ask about materials.

Knitting 2: Improve your knitting. We’ll explore increasing, decreasing, various cast-on and bind-off methods in addition to various stitch patterns. $15 – Every 3^rd Thursday of each month from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.
